Caulfield plays host to the rich Victorian Owners & Breeders Race Day. Huge prizemoney is up for grabs over the course of the program.
The track is currently rated a soft 5 and with fine weather predicted, participants will be met with a drying racing surface.
The rail is out 6m the entire circuit and at this set up, horses who race on speed will hold an advantage.

This unbeaten Maher/Eustace runner looks extremely well placed here in the VOBIS Gold Dash, ready to make it three from three in his career.
There were very big wraps on this horse from the stable leading into his debut win at Ararat. He jumped straight on the bunny and recorded a very soft win.
It was his last start win at The Valley though that really highlighted the horse's ability, putting a small yet high quality field away by close to 4 lengths.
That field contained proven city winners like Able Willie, Zarastro and He's Exceptional. This runner left them in his wake.
He led them up, which is a racing pattern that will see him win many more races, running his last 600m and 400m sectionals 3 lengths quicker than standard.
It showed us that he can sit up on speed, travel at an even tempo and still quicken from there to win.
Third up here, he will be nearing peak fitness and can roll across from barrier nine to sit up on speed again.
Linda Meech retains the ride, she knows the horse now and in another very winnable race he can prove too strong for his opposition.
Caulfield Race 6 Tip #4 Kings Consort $21
This is a very competitive way to start the Quaddie on Saturday, and in a race with many hopes I've landed on one at an each way price.
Kings Consort has not done much wrong in three starts to date.
I thought he was very unlucky not to land the prize at Ballarat first up last start.
He found a good position in running behind the leaders, and off a strong tempo in front looked to have a lot up his sleeve when they turned for home.
However, he was held up at a crucial stage behind tiring leaders when searching for a run.
Once he got out and flashed home the race was over.
He still managed to run the seventh fastest last 200m of the entire day, and his last 400m was still 2 lengths quicker than class benchmark.
I think he gets a very similar map here this afternoon.
From the good draw he can camp right in behind what looks to be a very solid tempo over the 1200m.
If the speed goes on up front, he can peel out when needed and get over the top of them.
Mark Zahra is a very positive rider booking and the stable is in a good run of form.
