Two Queens set to Rule
A very wet Randwick is set to host the biggest race of the Autumn Carnival.
This year's edition of the Queen Elizabeth Stakes is amongst the best we have ever seen with today's biggest stars to go head-to-head.
Furthermore, not to be overshadowed, The Queen Of The Turf is a ripper with multiple Group 1 winners clashing in a huge field of stars.
Let's delve into these action packed races, hosted on a tricky Heavy 10 track.

Track Conditions
The track will be a bottomless Heavy and I suspect only the fittest will survive.
The rail is out 4m and we can expect jockeys to be scouting wide in the home straight.
Advantage to those who are rock hard fit, and to those on a 7-day back up.
Randwick Race 8 - Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m)
The Map 
- Zaaki (3) will lead them up and could very well carve out even sectionals in the small field.
- Dalasan (1), Think It Over (4), Anamoe (5) and Montefilia (2) will slot in behind the leader
- Duais (9), Verry Elleegant (7) will sit at the rear of the field
The Early Favourite - Verry Elleegant $3.00
She's won 7 Group 1's from her last 15 starts, relishes the rain affected going and is set to peak.
She jumped out of the ground on Grand Final day last year and if Waller has timed her to perfection, we could be about to witness one of her biggest wins to date.
Waller/McDonald are the best trainer/jockey combination in Australia and she is still the best stayer in the country.
I had my doubts after her last effort, but with the current weather conditions falling her way, she'll be very hard to beat.
Best Racing Tips 
Verry Elleegant has drawn perfectly in barrier 7 to sit in midfield and get every possible.
The rain affected going is to her liking and I believe she's the best wet tracker in the race.
If she peaks on Grand Final Day, she wins the race
Montefilia was ultra impressive in the Ranvet on a Heavy 9 and is another who will relish the conditions.
Put simply, her best isn't as good as Verry Elleegant's best and on that alone, I have to have VE on top.
Maps to do no work and with Bowman on top, will be poised to strike if the champion mare doesn't deliver.
Anamoe was so impressive in the Cox Plate suggesting he's a gutsy galloper who must be considered here.
Being a 3YO, he has the most upside and I expect him to fighting out the finish.
I had nothing between him and Duais on ratings, but had a slight leaning to Anamoe given he'll be more forward in the run.

Randwick Race 9 - Queen Of The Turf (1600m)
The Map
- The Waterhouse/Bott stable have the keys to this race.
- Never Been Kissed (5), Shout The Bar (10) and Vangelic (13) will all roll forward
- Of the more favoured runners, Colette (9) can land midfield for the gun run.
- While Icebath (15) will be forced to sit beyond midfield
The Early Favourite - Colette $4.00
Maps well, gets J-Mac, loves the wet, what's not to like about her.
In what I've got marked as a two horse race, she looks a good bet at $4.00.
Best Racing Tips
Icebath loomed to win the Doncaster, but her fitness gave out on the testing track late.
She still produced a strong last 600m split and will be ready to explode on Saturday.
The 7-day back up is the key to her success and I think she'll jump out of the ground.
Colette ticks all the boxes and is the clear second pick. My only knock is the 3-weeks between runs.
Yonce is unbeaten at 6 career starts and has enormous upside.
We have no idea if she'll handle the Heavy track, but on ability alone, she must be included.
