It Is Not Me
Both It Is Me and I Am Me appear unsuited in their respective races and will each need to overcome significant challenges.
At Flemington, It Is Me makes his Group level debut and faces a tricky speed map.
Meanwhile, at Randwick, I Am Me looks worn out after an arduous Everest campaign last preparation and now seems to be raced at every possible opportunity. He looks like a tired horse.
Jimmy Beeson continues to nail his lays at a good rate.

Flemington Race 4 #10 It Is Me $2.90
He has been racing well, winning his last two starts, but now faces his toughest challenge yet, stepping up to Group level for the first time—never an easy task.
With a lack of tactical speed, he is likely to be dictated to by the race shape. Despite drawing low (gate 3), he may not have the early speed to take advantage, meaning he will likely settle back in the field.
This race appears to lack a genuine tempo, which will not suit a backmarker like him, as those settling in the first half of the field are likely to be fighting out the finish.
With several battle-hardened Group-level runners engaged, I expect him to be severely outclassed at this level. Lay.
Randwick Race 6 #9 I Am Me $3.10
No one has missed the interference she suffered in the Oakleigh Plate first-up (13th of 16), which has caused the market to overreact based on the perception she was unlucky.
However, I’d suggest the real issue is that she may simply be cooked after an arduous Everest campaign last preparation.
Even after The Everest, connections pushed on as an afterthought to the Russell Balding Stakes, where she raced flat.
The ownership group seems determined to race her as often as possible, but this strategy may not be in her best interests.
With several other runners profiling better in this field, she looks well under the odds at her current quote. Avoid.
