The feature event will be the Class 3 sprint over 1000m.
Rising star Nervous Witness will have his second start at the city circuit, with Zac Purton taking the ride.
We also have a hyped HK debutant in the race, with the Caspar Fownes’ trained, Atomic Force.
This 3YO gelding won a G2 and a G3 in France. He also made a special list being the joint-ninth rated 2YO in Europe in 2021.
For today Vincent Ho will be on board.
Apart from Nervous Witness, Zac Purton has a good book of rides and is likely to have several winners once again.

Wild West Wing is another of Zac Purton’s rides that has a strong winning hope.
The 5YO gelding won over this course and distance in late December last year, giving me the impression he likes Happy Valley more than Sha Tin.
He is more competitive in Class 4 company and drops in class today to tackle this event.
Last time out over the 1200m at Happy Valley, he jumped well and led.
The competition was stiff and over the unsuited distance he did well to stick on, being beat by only 2.75 lengths.
This field isn't the strongest and the drop to 1000m suits perfectly.
Happy Valley Race 9 #1 Savvy Kingman $2.90
Savvy Kingman has scored three wins this season over this trip.
One of those victories was while carrying top weight, and it's a task he will having to face again.
He has proven he is not the easiest horse to handle and only two masterful jockeys in Joao Moreira and Zac Purton have managed to steer him to victory.
Last start he was ridden by Zac Purton for a convincing 2 length victory. This was Zac's first time on him and is booked once more for tonight.
He has drawn soft in barrier 6 and will muster to find the front. From there he will be hard to catch.

Happy Valley Race 4 #2 Party Warrior $2.45
An improving gelding and lightly raced with only 9 career starts.
He has won twice, with both victories over this course and distance.
He was very impressive under Zac Purton at his last start and looks primed to strike again.
Despite rising to a career high mark, he still looks the one to beat.
Purton is 2 from 2 on the Francis Lui 4YO and he’s well drawn in gate 2 to repeat the winning tactics of last time.
Flaming Passion and Seizing The Moment can run well but this selection can record back-to-back wins.
Happy Valley Race 7 #1 Nimble Nimbus $5.50
A lightly raced son of Sacred Falls who won well on his penultimate start.
Harry Bentley, on board for his last 6 runs, keeps the ride and is well drawn in gate 2.
This will be his first visit to Happy Valley but he’s a consistent and progressive 4YO.
His one win came at this trip when beating Leading Fortune, who has since landed 3 races on the spin.
In a competitive race, chances can be given to the lightly raced pair, Hk Dragon and Sparky Star.
However, my top pick can defy topweight and record his second victory for trainer Ricky Yiu.
