The race callers were on song once again, well represented among the week's top profit-makers.
And kicking away at the summit of the leaderboard was the voice of racing in the Red Centre, Dylan Bairstow.
Bairstow not only out-tipped his colleagues, but achieved something extra special special this week. He tipped the card.
That's right, Bairstow correctly identified all 5 winners at Saturday's Alice Springs meet.
They saluted at an average price of $3, and saw Bairstow finish the week with a perfect 100% strike rate.
This translated to $990 in cash profit for punters who followed his tips with $100 bets, or a monster 198% Profit on Turnover (POT).
You can't ask for any more than that.
From one caller to another, because coming home next was none other than Darren Flindell.
One of Australia's premier race callers, the Sydneysider is also a dab hand when it comes to picking winners.
He showed all of this skill on Wednesday's Kenso card, finding 5 winners including $12 pop Rainbow Connection.
Flindell goes oh so close to tipping the card
Looking at the week as a whole, and Flindell's winning tips got up at a strike rate of 35% and a fat average price of $4.35.
This meant $910 in cash profit for all of Flindell's followers.
Rounding out the podium thanks to some top tipping at Dubbo was Mick Wallace.
The Central-West racing expert bagged 3 winners, including his best bet Sons of Bourke, that booted home at $7.40 odds.
Factor in a double stake for this best bet and Wallace's cash profit jumps up to $940.
And now with a three-week tipping streak at the track, his Dubbo tips are sure to be popular in the coming months.
Heading back to Sydney metro racing because Ron Dufficy had a week to remember.
On a tough day for most at Randwick on Saturday, Duff had no such dramas, delivering a 42% POT for his fans.
Three of his tips greeted the judge, including $9.10 shot Anamoe, who upstaged the likes of Profiteer and Stay Inside in the Todman Stakes.
And the news gets better for Dufficy fans, with the racing shifting to Rosehill on Saturday.
But more on that a little later.
Queensland caller Brett Moody is the last cab off the rank this time, after a winning day at Dalby.
He bagged $8.20 pop Tapa to drive a bumper 64% POT.
And given that Moody is boasting more than $4k in cash profit from all tips over the past 365 days, his selections are always going to be popular.

Rosehill Tips
Tipster | Profit / POT | |
---|---|---|
Ron Dufficy (NSW) |
$4,200 / 24% (365 days) |
As we highlighted above, Ron Dufficy's value as a tipster only increases when racing heads to Rosehill Gardens in Sydney's west.
In the lead-up meet to next Saturday's Golden Slipper, the track will see plenty of high-quality racing including the Group One Coolmore Classic.
And looking at Duff's stats, it's hard to go past him.
Over the past 365 days, he's tipped 55 Rosehill winners at a meaty average price of $4.
This has not only generated $4,200 in cash profit, but factor in a double stake for his best bets, and Dufficy's haul surges up to $6,210.
On top of that, he'll be hunting his third consecutive Rosehill profit this week.
He's clearly the tipster you want to be following.
Who's Flying?
While we've established that race callers make great tipsters, so do the ex-jockeys now working in the racing media, highlighted by the likes of Ron Dufficy.
In the same boat as Duff is former hoop Gary Kliese, who's also been tipping up a storm of late.
The presenter and form analyst has jagged 23 winners over the past 30 days, at a superb strike rate of 34% and a juicy average price of $3.82.
This has generated more than two grand in cash profit for Kliese's followers, at a fat 31% POT.
To really emphasise the form that Kliese is in, he's also showing a three-week profit streak at all tracks.
Punters will be hoping he can make it four on the trot.
Gary Kliese has been giving the bookies plenty of headaches
