Menangle hosts a stellar 10-race card tonight with racing heating up as we head towards the Miracle Mile.

Below are my 3 main plays for tonight's meeting, including one at $21 who is the best value bet on the card and can be backed each way.

Menangle Race 1#4 Ardens Ace $21.00

Going with a bit of value to kick us off in the first, in the form of Ardens Ace (4).

The speed here should be electric throughout and there is a chance the leaders could go too hard. If that unfolds, that gives hope to the capable run on horses, particularly this four-year-old.

The Stain (3) is not completely hopeless either at an even bigger price.


 
Menangle Race 2#11 Bettor Call Me $3.10

It is never easy to win from the widest gate at Menangle, but I'm hoping that the class of Bettor Call Me (11) can shine here.

The Victorian pacer has been brilliant in all of his starts at this track and couldn’t have done much more last week when running second.

His best is good enough to be winning here.


 
Menangle Race 10#6 Mighty Flying Art $2.25

Mighty Flying Art (6) can get back into the winner’s circle in the final race.

Despite a little bit of speed underneath him, I'm hoping driver Jack Trainor heads forward and finds the lead.

From there, this gelding will take plenty of catching as this field isn’t overly strong.
