Saturday Racing Tips from Rick Morris
Eagle Farm Race 9 Tip #1 Baller $4.20
Last run, this gelding was rearward on straightening and didn't get clear until the final 100m before rattling home to finish third. If he found clear air earlier, he would have won the race.
This form-line has since been franked with the winner, Racecourse Road, going on to score again. The second placed runner, Boomtoom Lass, finished a close second to the smart Usmanov at her next start.
The step up to 1400m for this clash looks perfect now and his record at the distance (6:3-0-1) reflects that.
Jockey Luke Dittman will elect to go back again, and there looks to be good tempo up front which the horse will lap up.
The long Eagle Farm straight will allow Dittman to start his run earlier this time and get over the top of them at a rate of knots.
Saturday Racing Tips from Justin Boccardo
Ascot Race 4 Tip #8 Son of A God $2.00
It's hard not to be impressed by the career record (8:5-0-1) of the returning Son of A God.
In his last start before a spell, he finished less than 2 lengths off Windstorm and Massimo, whilst his trial leading into this was eye-catching to say the least.
He looks to have returned bigger and stronger off a spell and has the luxury of 54kg, with the rise to a moderate 78+ grade event.
Ziebell will ensure a strong tempo and from barrier 1 if Parnham shows intent like he did in the trial, he will land on the leader's back.
From there, I just don't see how they can beat him.

Randwick Race 5 Tip #13 Bigboyroy $3.80
He was a good thing beat last start, when strung up on the rails behind Edison before getting out late and flashing home.
The form out of that race reads well, with Edison and New Arraignment both coming out to win at their next start.
He's proven fourth-up, gets to 1600m and is in well at the weights with 53.5kg.
He maps perfectly in behind the speed of Regal Stage and Frosty Rocks, which will allow him to get a nice trail. I'm keen to be against Frosty Rocks at the price, given his best runs have come on rain-affected ground.
I expect Bigboyroy to start clear favourite come race time. His current price of $3.80 is over the odds.
