Horse racing tipster of the week

The pro punters really pinned the ears back this week, kicking away at the summit of the leaderboard.

And while they took out the top spots, there were also a couple of great performances by the media experts.

We'll get onto that pair a little later, but first up is the pros, headed by West Australian AlanUtterson.  

This bloke had a whale of a week, finishing up with a 245% POT after bagging 6 winners at an enormous average price of $14.37.

This haul included a trio of winning tips on Saturday's Winterbottom meet at Ascot, one of which was She's Got Merit in Race 3.

The bolter got the chocolates at an outrageous price of $61.40, in what was a fantastic find from AlanUtterson.

And far from being a fluke, this pro punter's record suggests that he's more than capable of this kind of showing.

In fact, AlanUtterson has now recorded $8,790 in cash profit from $100 win bets over the past 365 days.

Incredible going.

EnterPrize was the next pro punter to make his mark, after steering his followers into a bumper 236% Profit on Turnover (POT).

Also a Sandgroper, it similarly at Ascot where this pro was cashing in.

He bagged the Winterbottom winner itself, tipping $25 shot Elite Street who went on to upset raging favourite Trekking.

And considering that EnterPrize is boasting a 46% POT from 150 selections over the past 90 days, it's clear that this tip was no flash in the pan.

The third pro punter to make a splash was Max Wills.

The Victorian jagged 3 good winners in his home state, including $30 pop Here To Shock at Sandown on Wednesday.

This drove a 171% POT, or $2,220 in cash profit if you followed Wills's 13 tips with $100 bets.

There might have been a few, considering that Wills is now showing a four-month profit streak at all tracks.

Terrific consistency.

Onto the media tipsters now, and faring best was SKY Racing's Terry McAuliffe. 

The South Australian caller, form judge and racing presenter cleaned up at Thursdays Balaklava meet. 

He bagged 5 of the 8 winners at a meaty average price of $4.44.

This generated a 178% POT for McAuliffe's followers.

They'll be back for more after this performance.

Peter Lyne was the other media expert to show his class, after ripping in at Doomben on Saturday.

The Brisbane form analyst from Winning Post steered his fans into 5 of the 9 winners on the card.

This haul included Lyne's best bet Gin 'n' Bitters, as well as $8.90 hope Beachbreak. 

All up, Lyne's tips resulted in a 106% POT.

Punters will be keeping an eye on Lyne's Brisbane tips following this effort.

Harness and greyhound tipsters of the week

Kicking off as usual with the top harness performer and this week that honour fell to Kendo7.

One of the veterans here at theGreatTipOff.com, Kendo7 has been one of the sites top pro punters for a while now.

This week he notched up a solid 72% POT after bagging 4 winners from 10 tips at an average price of $4.30.

While these numbers might not sound spectacular, you've got to factor in Kendo7's extended record.

He's now sitting on more than $8k in cash profit from 116 tips over the past 90 days.

Phenomenal going.

Moving onto the dogs and it was race caller and form judge Rob Auber who fared best.

The Victorian nailed 8 winners at a super strike rate of 38% and a juicy average price of $3.85.

This led to an 84% POT for Auber's followers.

And considering that he's now dished up three straight profitable days, his next selections are sure to be launched.
