Sunshine Coast Race 6 #1 Miss Hipstar $6.00
This 3YO filly from the Kelly Schweida stable has won both her first-up starts.
She comes into this fresh after a trial win, where she was posted three wide over the 800M.
The wide run didn’t seem to faze her, as she was under a grip as she went over the line.
Earlier this year, she duelled with Stella Magic and got the better of her to win.
That form reads well for this event, as Stella Magic overpowered many of the rivals she meets again here.
Apprentice Leah Kilner claims 2 kgs, getting her weight down to 57 kgs.
There are a few who could lead this race, so Kilner may decide to position Miss Hipstar third or fourth in the run.
Her history and recent trial suggest she should be a great chance to win again at a nice price.

Ballarat Race 1 Tip #4 Lighthouse $2.30
Former United States mare who couldn’t have been more impressive winning her Australian debut.
On that occasion she headed to Kyneton on a heavy track, where she posted a dominant four length victory which could have been even further.
She will be suited by the good speed, which will be set by Do You Reckon.
After the 2kg claim for apprentice Matthew Cartwright, she will only carry 55.5kg.
The Maher-Eustace stable has a big opinion of her and I expect favourite punters to get runs on the board in the opening event.

Ascot Race 6 Tip #10 Hot Zed $3.30
Hot Zed is a horse criminally underrated in the Western Australia racing scene. In his 15 career starts, he's built a very nice record including 6 victories.
While he's not suited to a set-weight and penalties race, none of the higher rated horses are going any good at the moment and to my eye look like winning chances.
He drops 5kg from a 3 length defeat at the hands of Wilchino, steps up to 1400m where he has placed behind Comfort Me, and gets the services of Chris Parnham.
There is no genuine tempo in the race and as a result, I am expecting Hot Zed to land in the first four.
From this position, Parnham can control the race from up top and get Hot Zed home for his first win in three starts.
