It was a cracking week for the pro punters after they found stacks of value, especially on Derby Day.

A few media experts also made a splash with their selections, led by resident form expert Michael Gannon.

This pro punter from Adelaide cleaned up on Derby Day.

He bagged two fat winners in two of the Group Ones, highlighted by Johnny Get Angry in the feature race.

Considering they got home at an average price of $11.52, this was a stellar showing.

Powell clocked off with a monster 255% Profit on Turnover (POT). This also saw his 30-day POT rise to 367%.

His Flemington tips are sure to be snapped up for the rest of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

The next pro punter to make his mark was Broken Hill local ChewmansRoughies.

This bloke certainly lived up to his tipping alias, after bagging 3 winners at an average price of $14.43.

His top pick also came in a Group One on Derby Day, after Shout The Bar saluted at enormous $30 odds in the Empire Rose Stakes.

This helped drive a juicy 209% POT for ChewmansRoughies.

Demonstrating how good his Spring has been, the pro shows just under 21% POT over the past 90 days.

On top of that, he is now boasting a formidable all-time record.

He's recorded $10,900 in cash profit from almost 500 tips.

What an effort.

The third and final pro punter to earn a shout out for his impressive tipping is ArrestedDevelopment.

This Queenslander delivered the biggest cash profit of the week, finishing up on a monstrous $10,880 to go along with his 167% POT.

So how did he do it?

Value was the answer once again, with ArrestedDevelopment's 6 winners getting home at a mouth-watering average price of $29.

The standout was $55 hope Smuggler, that snuck home in the first at Traralgon on Saturday.

This came a day after ArrestedDevelopment landed $43 pop Eaton at The Valley.

He's airborne.

Onto the media experts now, and theGreatTipOff.com's Michael Gannon had the best of it. 

The racing writer and NSW form specialist steered his followers into 6 winners at a sensational average price of $12.28.

Like ChewmansRoughies, Gannon was all over Shout The Bar, that brought the Sydney form down to Melbourne and got the job done at a big price in the Empire Rose.

This helped drive a 220% POT for Gannon and his followers.

Tremendous tipping.

The other media tipster who impressed was Kevin Casey from Best Bets.

The publication's top Sydney form analyst, Casey found 3 winners on Golden Eagle day including his best bet Gytrash. 

He backed that up with 5 winners at Mortlake on Sunday, in what was a cracking weekend for Casey.

Punters who followed his tips with even stake ended up with a fat 163% POT.

Not bad at all.

Harness and Greyhound tipsters of the week

Kicking off with the harness tipster of the week, and it was once again all about the value.

Perth-based punter Claresy1977 notched up an outrageous 704% POT after bagging 2 winning tips from 9 selections.

The kicker is that they came at an average price of $36.20, and included Gold Reactor that got home at 70/1 odds at Menangle last Tuesday.

If that wasn't enough, Claresy1977 has also found a profit in each of his past three tipping days.

This pro punter from Wollongong made inroads with his consistency. 

He jagged 7 of his 8 greyhound tips, coming within a whisker of finishing the week with a 100% strike rate.

As it stands he ended up with an 88% strike rate, to generate a whopping 204% POT.

And after nailing his last 4 tips, he's another whose next selections will be sought after.
