Best Bets for Thursday racing at Wyong
Wyong is the venue for NSW racing on Thursday, with a strong 7 race meeting ahead for punters.
This looks a great betting card, with some talented types stepping out.
As usual, we'll be backing those runners who represent value on what is a competitive day of racing.
The track is currently rated a Good 4 and warm weather is forecast for the Central Coast town.
The rail is in the true position and at this set-up, don't be surprised to see front-runners dominate throughout the day.
Below are 2 of my 4 best bets of the day.
My other 2 best bets are currently paying $6.50 and $26.00.
They both come out of the trials, are from unfashionable stables and are well over the odds.
If you're keen to follow me in, HOT Bet them here!

Wyong Race 1 Tip #2 Nelspruit $3.75
This gelding from the Waterhouse/Bott yard makes his debut today and finds a very winnable race.
The short priced favourite, Jaytees, is a maiden after 13 starts and is no good thing. Coming here off a race over 900m, he has the blinkers removed in an attempt to run a strong 1100m.
On the other hand, Nelspruit arrives here off two trials. In the first hit-out, Brenton Avdulla was aboard over 1045m at Randwick where he ran 4th.
His second trial was where he put the writing on the wall. The stable sent him to Wyong and he destroyed his rivals, kicking strongly on the turn. In an encouraging sign, when asked for an effort he quickly put a gap in them.
Sure it was only a trial, but the gelding did it in nice time, running easily the second quickest 1000m trial of the day.
The stable has engaged the services of Brenton Avdulla, who jumps back on after riding in the Randwick trial.
Avdulla rides Wyong as well as any jockey in NSW, which is a huge push for punters that this galloper is ready to fire.
From barrier 4, look for Avdulla to be positive and lead if possible. If not, he'll take a sit off Jaytees and be poised to strike on the turn.
In what appears a race in two, I'm much happier taking the $3.75 about Nelspruit than the $1.70 Jaytees.
Wyong Race 6 Tip #3 Trajection $4.45
Couldn't believe the price they've gone up with this girl! She's clearly the best horse in this race and is set to bounce back to form on a dry deck.
Her last three runs have been disappointing, but have all come on a Soft 7 or worse surface.
The booking of Tommy Berry is a fair indication the horse is still thriving and that she has a big run in her.
From barrier 8 here, Berry will have to be patient. There is enough speed in the race for Trajection to be flying over the top late, but there is a risk given she is a back-marker. However, I expect this girl to be far too good for them.
She'll need even luck but if she gets it, she'll bounce back in a big way!
