Ipswich Race 2 Tip #2 Jetty $3.00
His recent Doomben run suggests the Edmonds stable have this three-year-old firing and ready for a third-up tilt.
He finished fifth on that occasion, 2.5 lengths off Dominant King who looks a really smart type.
They sizzled in that contest, running 1:08.67 for 1200m and coming home in 34.14 seconds for the last 600m.
Not helping his cause in that clash, the gelding was engaged in a bumping dual with the winner and in spite of that, he was still doing his best work late.
Jim Byrne has been on board in both starts this prep and the experienced hoop won't have him far out of his ground in the small 7 horse field.
He will be the one finishing off hard and should break through here.

Warwick Farm Race 1 #1 Cat D'oro $2.30
Looking to start the day off in the right fashion with this three-year-old colt from the Chris Waller yard.
I’ve always had a bit of time for him and feel that he’ll have some key factors swinging his way this time.
He had a soft trial in preparation for his first-up run, where he was caught wide early before finding a nice trailing spot in a three wide stalking position.
Nash brought him to the middle of the track in that clash and he just plugged away to finish a distant third to Rustic Steel and Kiku. There have since been three subsequent winners out of that race, and it is quickly proving to be a strong form reference.
The blinkers go on for the first time here which will sharpen him up, as he has a tendency to wait for other horses to run up to him before going again.
Expect him to go to a new level in his first run on a Good surface today, with all four of his career runs being on rain affected tracks.
The in-form James McDonald claims the ride and in a race where there is a lack of speed, I’m expecting him to lead these up and prove near impossible to run down.
Tamerlane is clearly second-pick and a big yard watch. The race drops off terribly after that.

Warwick Farm Race 3 Tip #1 Miyake $3.00
This looks the perfect race for the cracking son of Deep Impact to get himself back into the winner's circle.
The four-year-old from the Chris Waller stable steps back to the mid-weeks and strikes a very winnable race after contesting strong Saturday benchmark staying events, where he has been acquitting himself well.
Last start over the 2400m, he finished within 3 lengths of the talented Approach Discreet at Rosehill on an unsuitable heavy surface.
Two starts back, he was sensational in a very strong BM78 at Randwick. In that clash, he had no luck in the run before being defeated by 1.5 lengths behind She’s Ideel and subsequent Saturday winners Archanna and Relucent.
He arrives here at peak fitness and stays at 2400m, which looks a perfect set-up at this stage of his preparation. He gets back to a dry surface where both of his career wins have come, and he strikes a very weak race.
From the good draw, James McDonald will have him in behind the leading division and with even luck, he will be too good for his rivals
