Early oil for Gosford Races
Gosford plays host to Provincial NSW racing this Tuesday, with a strong 8-race card ahead.
Punters are in for a treat, with the likes of Tommy Berry, Nash Rawiller, Brenton Avdulla, Rachel King and Tim Clark all heading to The Entertainment Grounds.
Local jockey Tim Clark has been on fire at Gosford this season, riding 4 winners from 6 rides. The gun hoop is booked for only 2 rides today, the first coming in race 5 aboard Thinking Cap ($8.00) and the second in race 6 on Wicked Wrench ($8.10).
Tommy Berry is another rider to keep an eye on. Berry's record from 9 mounts this season at Gosford is 9:2-3-1, suggesting he rides the tight turning track as well as anyone.
The rail is out 3m and the track is currently rated a Soft 5 and could well start a Good 4.
At this set-up, on-pace runners are favoured due mainly to the short 262m straight.

Gosford Race 2 Tip #4 Harmony Rose $1.95
This filly from the Mark Newham yard was impressive on debut, winning by 1.5-lengths.
That was first-up over 1400m and the step out to 1600m looks ideal at her second career start.
She showed a strong sprint in the concluding stages of that debut hit-out and is sure to take huge benefit from the run, both physically and mentally.
The runner-up, Finally Realise, has since run third while fourth placegetter, Dhakuri, finished a narrow second at Wyong on Sunday
The 2kg claim for Tyler Schiller ensures she's in well at the weights and with only 55kg on her back, she'll prove awfully hard to beat.
I have her marked $1.90 in this field and while she's only had the one run, she looks to have untapped ability which none of these have.
From barrier 7, look for Schiller to ride positively to take up the running or sit outside the leader. From there, watch her hit the go button on the home turn.
