SKY Racing Tipster Weekly Wonders

The race callers were back to their brilliant best this week, with four of their mob taking out the top four spots on the SKY Racing leaderboard.

Leading the way was chief Queensland caller Josh Fleming, thanks to a bumper $1,110 cash profit from $100 win bets.

This was driven by 11 winners at a juicy average price of $4 and a 33% strike rate. 

Rather than a flash in the pan, this performance is just another example of Fleming's skill as a tipster.

After handy profits in both August and September, this latest effort marks the beginning of a third straight monthly profit.

Falling just short of the top spot was NSW's leading provincial caller, Mitchell Manners.

Manners was all over Saturday's Newcastle meet, bagging 5 of the 7 winners including his best bet Either Oar at $3.90 odds.

Factor in a double stake for this best bet and Manners clocked off with a monster 166% Profit on Turnover (POT).

Tremendous tipping.

Filling the final podium spot was Gold Coast caller Terry Spargo.

There's not many people who'd have a better knowledge of the Gold Coast racing scene than Spargo.

This showed in his latest performance at the track, where he tipped 4 of the 8 winners at a solid average price of $4.18.

This generated a whopping 109% POT for Spargo and his followers.

The fourth race caller to make a splash was none other than Anthony Manton.

Before picking up the microphone, Manton spent time working as a form analyst for a leading online bookmaker.

His recent form as a tipster therefore comes as no surprise.

Not only did Manton steer his followers into a 55% POT this week, but he's now dished up three winning months in a row.

His next selections are sure to be snapped up.

Peter Staples is the last cab off the rank this week, thanks to a superb display of tipping at Hobart last Sunday.

The racing writer and form judge saw 5 of his 8 tips greet the judge, to generate a fat 86% POT.

And now with three straight profitable tipping months of his own, Staples is another whose tips will be gobbled up.

Randwick Tips

Sydney racing sticks at Royal Randwick this Saturday, with the running of the Spring Champion Stakes.

And just like last week, Paul Joice is really the only tipster you want to be on at headquarters. 

Joice has steered his followers into 27 Randwick winners over the past 180 days, at a juicy average price of $4.37.

Three of these came Saturday, and included his best bet Athiri that booted home in the last. 

Joice is also showing a three week profit streak at all tracks, and looks in a great position to make it four on the trot.

Who's Flying?

As well as doing enough to be a weekly wonder, Peter Staples is also one of SKY's best performers over an extended period.

His latest Hobart profit marked the seventh consecutive day that he's come out on top.

That's right, he'll be looking to dish up eight straight profits with his next Tasmanian tips.

Unsurprisingly, Staples is also sitting on a three-month profit streak.

Delving deeper into his stats, and Staples has tipped 21 winners over the last 90 days, at a strike rate of 36% and an average price of $4.20.

This has led to an enormous 52% POT, or $3K in cash profit for punters who followed Staples' 58 tips with $100 bets.

Tony Brassel Tips

Punters would know the extent of Tony Brassel's tipping output by now, but this week was something else.

Bras provided no less than 83 tips for his loyal followers, with 17 of them saluting.

One of these winners was Verry Elleegant, who proved too classy in last week's Turnbull Stakes.

The highlight of his week came on Wednesday however, after he steered punters into $9.70 pop Wordy in the opener at Echuca. 

Not only did Bras tip the first starter from the Kavanagh yard, but he marked it as his best bet of the day. 

With little exposed form to rely on, Brassel pulled this one from the clouds to add further weight to the argument there is no sharper eye in the game.
