The Morals

Sandown Race 7#4 Weblec Jet $4.20

Finally gets back out to the 500m trip after savaging the line at his last 3 runs over 460m and 450m.

The big boy has been beginning as good as anything, but has lacked the required dash to keep up over the sprint trips against some sharp dogs.

Out to his right trip I can see him being right there going past the winning post for the first time. If he's outside the leaders or within a length of them, he will run over them late.

Sandown Race 9 #4 Curtator  $3.20

This is a thin race for a Thursday night. Not many dogs run faster than 29.60, so this is a nice race for the son of Mepunga Blazer.

He does stand there at the start and comes out like a stone which is against rule #1, but there isn't much speed in this race. This allows him to be close enough to run them down.

His last 3 starts have been good, his field sense has impressed me most and it appears the penny has dropped. At the $3.40, he's a good bet.
