Best bets for midweek racing

Sandown Race 8 Tip #7 Glass Ceiling $23.00 each-way
This mare finished behind the fast Miss Albania two starts ago at Moonee Valley, and managed to level up to Elderflower late.
That galloper went on to win well in BM64 grade at Caulfield.
You have to put a line through her last start at Warrnambool, where she had zero luck in the straight and pretty much went around for a track gallop.
From barrier 13 here, she'll have a much smoother run in transit and will be able to finish off well down the outside.

Sandown Race 2 Tip #1 D’jumbuck $2.20
This maiden race lacks depth, which makes this galloper a standout bet on what looks a tough day on the punt!
He was very good two runs back over the same trip, when just missing against Diamonds In The Sky in a photo finish.
That galloper has since gone onto win a deep Wednesday midweek race, which has produced four subsequent winners.
Last start, he sat on the speed in what was a frantically run race where the leading pair went way too fast in-front.
After fighting hard, he was left a sitting duck late when the swoopers came toward the middle of the track and went past him.
The step back to 1300m for this clash looks a positive and as mentioned earlier, this field lacks any real depth and it’s hard to make a case for any of his rivals.
He draws the outside barrier but with a lack of speed drawn inside him, I expect to see in-form jockey Jamie Kah take him to the front and lead all the way.

Wyong Race 6 Tip #2 Debari $2.45
I'm keen on the Joe Pride trained four-year-old after a cracking return first-up from a spell over 1100m.
The Dundeel gelding resumed over a distance short of his best but he stuck to his task behind an in-form Deference, going down by 0.8 lengths.
Last preparation he had good form in Saturday benchmark races, mixing it with the likes of Zourhea and Adana which is a good form reference for a race like this.
He gets here second-up and steps to 1300m which is ideal.
From the good gate with Jay Ford sticking, I expect him to camp in behind the speed and prove too strong late.
