Feature race previews and best bets
Caulfield plays host to a strong nine-race card this Saturday, where the rail is out 10m the entire circuit.
The track is currently rated a Good 4 but with the chance of rain, punters should keep their powder dry and bet late to keep on top of any perceived bias.

Race 1 Ive Print Handicap 1600m (BM84)
Kardashing and Thousand Wishes will set the pace in this small field of six runners.
Thousand Wishes (4) has built a nice record and is the class horse in the race.
In a slowly run race, she looks set to sit just off Kardashing and let her do all the work up front. Look for this mare to peel away in the straight, before proving too good in the finish.
Kardashing (1) should relish the soft time in front and stick on for second.
Paint The Town (2) is in career best form and looks the best of the rest.
Mark's Race 1 Tips
1st Thousand Wishes
2nd Kardashing
3rd Paint The Town Two
Race 7 Manfred Stakes 1200m (Group 3)
Another small field has been assembled here, with only seven runners engaged.
Groundswell will go forward from the outside gate, with Free Of Debt to also apply early pressure.
Giant killer Super Seth (1), who beat Alligator Blood in the Caulfield Guineas last Spring, returns from a spell and has proven his class. He's two from two first up and is the one to beat.
From barrier one, he will be within striking distance of the leaders and ready to pounce.
Dalasan (3) has only missed one placing from his eight career starts and is two-from-two second-up. He ran a close second to Alligator Blood last prep and is the danger to Super Seth.
Groundswell (7) has form around the top two in the market, has won first-up and over the distance. He's the clear third pick.
Mark's Race 7 Tips
1st Super Seth
2nd Dalasan
3rd Groundswell
Race 9 Cantanach's Jewellers 1400m (BM84)
There are only nine-runners engaged here, but there will be some speed-on.
Power Dream (4) and Bag Raider (8) look the likely leaders, with Smart Elissim (3) and Fabric (9) to push forward from out wide.
Never Again (6) has put in two terrific runs this campaign and looks set for speed map favours here.
From barrier six, he can take a sit midfield and fly over the top late.
Fabric (9) should strip fitter and looks the danger with Craig Williams onboard. I expect Williams to ride her positively and put her right in the race.
Great Duchess (2) is a frustrating horse. She ran a nice third behind Conqueror two starts back at the track and distance and if she runs up to that form here, she's a place chance.
Mark's Race 9 Tips
1st Never Again
2nd Fabric
3rd Great Duchess
