There were some familiar faces at the top of this week's leaderboard for most cash profit.

Two big name media personalities filled the top five positions, starting their Spring campaigns on the front foot.

They shared the spoils with some veteran pro punters who used all of their tipping experience to land a big profit.

The best of the lot was Fordcat17, who raked in a monster total of $9,130 from $100 win bets.

This profit was generated by 29 winners at a whopping average price of $11.01

One of the standout selections from Fordcat17 was Mad Brad, who got home in the last at Belmont last Saturday paying a monster $70.30.

What a winner to round out the day's racing.

Securing the second highest profit was fellow punting veteran Tezzaraki.

This Queenslander's 32 winners at an average price of $12.55 led to a cash profit of $6,760.

Like Fordcat17, Tezzaraki has been mentioned in this weekly column more times than we care to count.

With him, you always know that a big profit is just around the corner.

Another punter who would be right up there for most frequently mentioned in this article is the pride of WA tipping, Sandgroper.

He earnt  his followers almost $3K in cash profit, after steering them into 18 winners.

Value was once again the order of the day, as these winners got home at an average price of  $9.

Sandgroper certainly lost no admirers this week.

But onto the media experts, and it was Brad Davidson who had the best of it.

His 7 winners at a strike rate of 44% and an average price of $7.47 resulted in a cash profit of $3,630.

But this wasn't even Davidson's most impressive stat.

Remarkably, the Sky Racing pundit finished the week on a 227% POT.

This takes his 180 day POT up to 11%, demonstrating that he's a tipster with the all-important consistency on his side.

It's no wonder that Davo is such a fan favourite amongst punters.

Super Racing analyst Greg Spletter also had a week to remember.

Spletter found $2,540 for his followers who were staking $100 on each bet.

There were 8 winners in all, and once again, they came at a juicy price.

$9.42 was Spletter's average winning price, thanks to two winners that got home around the 30/1 mark.

There's no doubt that finding a winner or two at this price is key to cracking into the top end of the leaderboard.

This was also the case for Darren Flindell, who sneaks in for our final mention in this week's article.

The popular NSW race caller tipped with confidence at Rosehill on Saturday, and it paid off.

Flindell found 2 good winners on the card, including Mrs Madrid that got home at odds of $27.40 in Race 4.

With an additional 4 placings at Rosehill, Flindell's profit could've been so much higher with a little luck.

As it stands, Flindell found almost $2K for his followers.
