After the media experts had an absolute fill-up June, the pro punters were the dominant force in July.
They clean-swept the podium for cash profit, and were only edged out by a regular punter in the Profit on Turnover (POT) category.
A few talented media tipsters weren't all that far behind, with one of our resident tipsters also featuring prominently.

Claiming the top gong and the $500 prize in our monthly competition was Tasmanian punter Samuel2.

This bloke clocked off with a thumping 156% POT after bagging 9 winners at a huge average price of $8.82.
There were a couple of standouts, including $20 pop Brew Horse at Hobart on the 4th, and $16.70 shot Don'tbuckme Off at Hobart on the 25th.
After such an impressive month, Samuel2 has emerged as one of the best options for any Tasmanian tips.

Securing the silver and runner's up prize of $250 was pro punter JustWins.
The Melburnian bagged 20 winners at a strike rate of 36% and an average price just shy of $5.
These phenomenal numbers resulted in a 78% POT.
Cracking stuff.
The bronze went to fellow pro punter Ochiltwig, after he bagged a 66% POT.
This South Australian found stacks of value, with his 11 winners saluting at an average price of $6.77.
Ochiltwig made plenty of inroads on the last day of the month, finding 5 winners.
This included $9.90 shot Tamerlane in Race 1 at Randwick, and $11.50 hope Zapateo in in the second at The Valley.
What a way to end the month.
Looking at the cash profit category and it was pro punter Toptipswednesday who had the best of it.
The Bendigo local closed the book on July with an outrageous $11,360 from $100 win bets.
This was after 36 of this pro's winners greeted the judge at a fat average price of $9.52.
This haul saw Toptipswednesday finish the month with a very respectable 50% POT.
Coming home next after his tips generated no less than $9,250 in cash profit was Mattina.
Also hailing from Victoria, this pro punter jagged 19 winners at a mammoth average price of $14.45.
With his tips also generating $17k in cash profit over the past 180 days, it's no surprise that Mattina is listed as a pro.

Rounding out the cash profit podium was Sydneysider PhantomTipper.
This pro punter ended up with $7,400 in cash profit, thanks to a whopping 64 winners at an average price of $4.73.
On top of that, PhantomTipper has also dished up four winning weeks on the bounce.
And considering he only joined the site in June, this bloke has exploded out of the barriers.

Telegraph Racing's Mitchell Hamilton filled the quinella spot thanks to a bumper 60% POT.
The young racing journo and form judge found stacks of value for his followers.
His 7 winners down in Melbourne got up at an average price of $10.29, and included $44 roughie Yulong Storm at Headquarters.

Race caller Anthony Collins came home next after finishing up with a fat 58% POT.
The SKY Racing man tipped stacks of winners in southern Queensland - 21 to be precise.
They greeted the judge at an average price of $3.32, to go along with a mind-bending strike rate of 48%.
If that wasn't good enough, Collins is now boasting a six-week winning streak.
He's airborne.

Collins' SKY Racing colleague Priscilla Looker was next over the line.
The presenter and form analyst found 19 winners in July, at a strike rate of 35% and an average price of $3.80.
This resulted in a 34% POT for the ex-hoop and her followers.
Her northern NSW tips in August are sure to be popular.
Hugh Fitzpatrick from SEN also had a month to remember.
The digital journo and form judge finished the month with a rock-solid 30% POT.
This was thanks to 12 winners at a fat average price of $6.82.
Fitzpatrick is definitely someone to keep tabs on.
Finally, an honourable mention goes to Adam Campton after some stellar tipping over in Asia.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club tipster bagged 11 winners across Sha Tin and Happy Valley, at a fat average price of $4.55.
This drove a healthy 25% POT for Campo and his followers.
