Tamworth hosts a competitive seven race card on Monday, with wide open events the theme of the day.
The track is currently rated a Good 4 and sunshine is forecast for the north-east NSW region.
The rail is in the 2m position from the 1000m - 300m mark and true for the remainder of the circuit, which will favour on-pace horses.
From the stewards
There are several horses who have featured heavily in the pre-steward's report for this meeting.
The one I want to mention is Untamed Mistress, running around in race 7.
The Animal Kingdom mare rounded out last preparation poorly, after finishing well back at Dubbo. She was vetted after that run and the stewards required her to head back to the trials.
She's since had the one trial, where she was held together nicely and will no doubt be competitive today.
Josh steered punters into his best bet at Scone last Tuesday, which saluted in style!
Below is his best bet for Tamworth as well as his quaddie numbers.

The Adam Duggan trained gelding is looking for back-to-back wins here and is well placed to do so.
In his last run, he sat outside the leader the entire way on the Heavy going at Gosford to score by 0.1 length.
He was first-up that day and showed brilliant fight to hold off the resurgence of the leader.
He is second-up coming into this which will help and a return to a Good track is positive.
He goes from a Provincial BM68 to Country Open Handicap race, which sees his weight drop 2kg from his last up effort.
The booking of gun hoop Andrew Gibbons is a solid push that the horse is flying at home. From the draw, expect Gibbons to sit on-pace.
He is talented and I expect him to be too good for them today.
