This former European galloper is rapidly improving through the grades, following two cracking Australian runs.
I was big fan of his recent performance at Flemington, where he fought on gamely over 2000m to finish second behind Skyman who is still unbeaten in Australia.
That effort indicated he will relish the step-up in trip to 2400m here, and he will have no issues getting through the heavy conditions.
He's rock hard fit, well placed back to BM70 grade and maps perfectly for Ben Melham to steer him to victory from gate three.

Sandown Hillside Race 4 Tip #11 Buona Sera $3.80
This filly by champion sire Starspangledbanner impressed on debut, before running into a smart type at her next start.
She went toe-to-toe with the Ellerton & Zahra trained Dirty Thoughts over 1200m at Sandown, going down by 0.1 lengths.
Dirty Thoughts went on to put a dominant victory together at The Valley last Saturday, which strongly franks this form line.
Buona Sera is well placed back against her own sex here and whilst the filly meets the older mares, she drops 1.5kg.
From barrier 11, she'll have plenty of time to roll forward and with even luck in the run, she'll be very hard to run down late.
