This is important as she has drawn the carpark under apprentice jockey Matthew Cartwright.
Look for him to push forward early and while there is a shorter straight to the first turn on the Lakeside track, she has a high cruising speed to cross the field.
With the sunny weather in Melbourne, if this track improves to a Soft 5 or Good 4, Flying Annie will see a solid amount of support and start in single fingers come jump time.
