There is still plenty of exciting racing around the Country as the QLD Carnival rolls on.
It was Mick's weekend getting two winners up last article. The boys have gone on the search for more value and think they have locked onto some good things.
Mick Gannon and Luke Hovhanesian have just dropped their best plays.
Mick Gannon Tip
It'sourtime ($4.40) can prove hard to catch, but coming off a last-start win we know he's in fine form.
He's been tried at this track and distance once before, running 0.2L, 2nd to the classy Looks Like Elvis.
He's drawn perfectly in barrier 6, he'll land three pairs back the running line and will be poised to strike on turning for home.
Ticks plenty of boxes and will give a sight.
Luke Hovhanesian Tip
You wouldn't want the track to be any worse than a Soft 5, but Morvada ($10) appears to be the value pick of the field.
The now 9YO is set to get a pretty cruisey time in the lead here and the booking of Linda Meech adds confidence.
She can take him to the front, switch him off and save it all for one final sprint.
Worth an each-way nibble.
Mick Gannon Tip
Pesto ($8.50) was great from back in the field last start and with only 53kg gets his chance in this open race.
The key to his chances is the return to a dry deck, with two of his three wins coming on a good surface.
Luke Hovhanesian Tip
What a wide-open race...
Hard to back anything with confidence, but Herman Hesse ($7.00) brings some of the better form lines.
His 3rd in the Mornington Cup was full of merit and he should be at peak fitness.
Dylan Gibbons riding with Maher/Eustace looks a lethal combination and happy to speck at the price.

Interesting race this, with form lines aplenty. I'm happy to pen the runners who come out of the two Listed races Scone in Quantico, Gravina & Athelric.
Baller ($12) is a proven commodity at this level and looks over the odds, as does Clemenceau ($9.50), so I won't be losing on either of those.
But the easy bet to have is Prince Of Boom ($4.20)!
His last three ratings have him winning this and he looks to get an easy enough time of it in front.
He was 0.4L off Rothfire and 2.8L off Giga Kick which reads very well for this race.
I think Prince Of Boom can run these into the ground, with Baller battling away in behind and Clemenceau charging late.
Luke Hovhanesian Tip
Far Too Easy ($6) goes on top for me.
He might not carry the star power as some of the others here coming from the bush, but he sure can measure up in this field.
He has drawn soft, plummets in weight and has some great form lines throughout his career.
If he gets a cosy run throughout he will be charging late.

I have a big concern over the speed map for some of these favoured runners.
Fireburn will be giving them a huge start and is a genuine $6 shot, so I couldn't possibly chime in at that price.
Affaire A Suivre ($7.50) will need a good steer from barrier 13 but is right in the race.
I'm with Yankee Hussle ($23) at a huge price. She was flushed out the back in her lead-up run but managed to still finish 2.5L off Fireburn.
In doing she ran the fastest L400m and L200m of the race.
She's overraced at 11 of her 12 career runs to date, including at her last start, so I'm hoping Andrew Mallyon decided to put her into the race this time around and let her run under her own steam.
With a positive ride, she can give a huge sight at big odds!
Luke Hovhanesian Tip
Got a real interest in this 3YO Kris Lees filly Amokura ($20).
Every time she has stepped up in distance she has grown a leg.
The 2200m here looks ideal and she could jump out of the ground and stun a few of the more fancied chances.
Will also be nibbling Yankee Hussle ($23) after being with her in The Roses.
