The New Zealand three-year-old form has been superb this Autumn and Sakura Girl has been right in amongst it all.
Four starts back, the Cambridge trained filly ran second to Prowess and that runner then blew away her rivals in the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes at Rosehill.
Sakura Girl then won the Group 3 Sunline Vase, before a sixth to Pennyweka in the Group 1 NZ Oaks. Pennyweka then proceeded to put them away in the ATC Oaks at Randwick.
Experienced Kiwi jockey Opie Bossom will have her placed right up on the speed, and with fitness on her side, she should prove hard to run down.
