Coolangatta striding to victory in the Gimcrack Stakes on Epsom Day
Michael Gannon - "One thing is for sure, there will be an abundance of speed.
I'm looking for runners who represent early value, that can run over the top late.
Fireburn, She's Extreme, Jacquinot and Shalatin all fit that profile"
Michael gives a detailed view as to why he believes Fireburn is a great chance.
Dean Watling (The Barrier Attendant) -
Best Of Bordeaux - "Great slipper profile. On pace type who handles the pressure. Wet or dry."
Coolangatta - "Unconventional slipper prep but the Maher and Eustace team are doing freakish things at the moment."
Fireburn - "Bullet proof filly. Wet or dry she is underrated."
Queen Of The Ball - "If it’s Dry she will give this race a shout. Ran better time than Best Of Bordeaux but needs it dry."
Dean Watling breaks down the profile you need to win the Golden Slipper.
Lewis Willoughby (Sky Racing)-
Jacquinot - "Ran a slashing 3rd in the Blue Diamond and will relish the breakneck speed on Saturday.
The booking of Hugh Bowman is a huge push for his chances and a big run wouldn't surprise."
Revolutionary miss - "Has only gotten better this prep, and comes into her grand final fifth up and ready to peak.
Narrow defeats behind Queen Of The Ball in the Widden, and Fireburn on debut, can be overturned here as she parks herself in behind a frantic speed.
Her 2nd placing in the Blue Diamond told me she’s can handle a strong 1200m, and she’s right up to this race."
