We head to the northern side of the Murray River on Friday for day two of the Albury carnival, where punters face a cracking eight-race card headlined by the Albury Gold Cup.
Blue skies are expected over the coming days, which should allow the Albury surface to handle the intense workout featuring 15 races over a 48 hour period.
With the track rated a Good 4 and the rail positioned true for the entire circuit, expect all horses to have their chance.

This five-year-old mare out of the Wagga based Trevor Sutherland camp has been put to the test this campaign, racing over a variety of distances and classes.
Last start at Wagga saw the mare put in a valiant effort to finish second, after finding a tempo that didn't suit. Working early in the run, she couldn't keep up the momentum and was eventually swallowed up by the swooping River of Gold.
Drawn wide in this race, I expect her to work forward and be up on the speed after 300m. There will be a battle up front, with ex-Kiwi The Dominator flying the flag for Henry Dwyer. The tempo will be strong, but her past runs should have her rock fit to embrace the pressure.
Look for hoop Shaun Guymer to jump well and lead after 300m. If the early sectionals are anything over 12 second splits, you can expect this mare to prove hard to catch.
My next play comes up in arguably the toughest race of the day, the Albury Guineas.
These country Guineas races always provide strong form-lines for up and coming country horses.
I have stuck with the Goulburn trained Southern Appeal here, who represents great value at the current each-way price.
He should map really well, with all runners drawn below him likely to push forward.
Look for him to sit one-out two-back for an economical run, before letting his turn of foot do its thing over the final 600m.
