This weekend is a punters dream with multiple group races being held across the country.
With most top-tier horses having now had a run, form lines are being formed and able to be dissected.
Our resident GTO tipsters have done their due diligence for this weekend and have lined up their best bets for followers.
Doomben Race 5 Tip # 4 Sea Raider $4.20
This 5YO gelding is a real mudlark and he will certainly get that here.
The Sunshine State has been hammered by rain over the past week and the track is expected to be bottomless.
The son of Reset has won 3 from 3 starts on the heavy surface and the track is currently rated a heavy 10.
He’s been brilliant this campaign, even overcoming wide runs to win on two occasions.
Stephanie Thornton will ride again and from gate 2 she can settle the on the speed.
Look for Steph to drive him home and keep his wet track record intact.
Caulfield Race 3 #3 Castlereagh Kid $3.70
Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott have a promising stayer on their hands, with this lightly raced three-year-old.
He has been impressive in his two starts this campaign after returning as a gelding.
Damien Oliver took him to the front last start at Sandown Hillside in a Benchmark 64 over 1800 metres.
He was softened up at the top of the straight by Poppy Joan and defied her challenge to kick clear.
He will be prominent from the outset and with Oliver on board can prove too strong for his own age group over 1800 metres.
Ascot Race 7 Tip #6 Come A Time $2.70
There isn't a horse running around today with better form lines than Comes A Time.
First up he was 1.8 lengths off This'll Testya who then came out next start and beat G1 performers in the Cyril Flower.
Second up he was a length off Clairvoyance, and the boom is well and truly back on that horse after a 4-length win in the Pinjarra Classic.
Comes A Time also has the blinkers going on, as well as a pair of pre-race ear muffs.
The speed will be good, with Kenyluck looking to lead and Patristic, Lipstick Flickers and Comes A Time all looking to be handy.
From barrier 3, Chris Parnham should be able to land the box seat in the perfect trailing position.
Michael Grantham has done very well with this horse so far and looks to get a deserved win here.
Randwick Race 7 #9 Colette $4.00
I am super keen on the Godolphin mare in the Chipping Norton Stakes.
It's hard to see her not getting conditions to suit after the deluge that’s hit Sydney already this week.
I have her as good, if not better than the Champ Verry Elleegant on rain affected ground.
Colette comes into this event off a very nice trial, which lead to a brilliant first up run.
She had to chase from a long way back and closed off strongly out wide.
With the lack of speed in this race and a lovely draw, jockey Tim Clark will be positive from the gates and put her in the first couple from the jump.
It seems like she’s has come back in very good order this preparation, and confident she runs right up to that form here.
Wetter the better for her.
