The SKY Racing leaderboard was this week dominated by a trio of Queensland race callers, after they cleaned up the podium positions.

Grabbing the gold thanks to a day to remember up in Cairns on Saturday was John Forsythe.

The racing broadcaster and journalist bagged 4 of the winners on the 10-race card at a mind-boggling average price of $8.02.

After an unlucky start, "Bluey" came home with a wet sail, nailing 4 of the last 5 winners of the day including $16 pop Ponderoso in the last.

This generated a whopping 221% Profit on Turnover (POT) for Forsythe's followers. 

There's sure to be plenty more keen to back his selections in the coming weeks.

Securing the silver thanks to a fat $800 in cash profit was Terry Spargo. 

The Gold Coast caller had a busy week, not only finding winners at his home track and at Ipswich, but across the border in NSW with winning tips at Murwillumbah and Grafton. 

Spargo bagged 11 winners all up, at a superb strike rate of 38%.

What an effort.

Rounding out the podium with a bumper 88% POT was Russell Leonard.

The presenter and race caller was up to his usual tricks at Rockhampton, nailing 4 of the 8 winners on the card.

They saluted at a handy average price of $3.75, driving a $700 cash profit for everyone who backed Leonard's tips with $100 bets.

This also extended Leonard's all-time Rockhampton profit to $11,660. 

Phenomenal stuff.

The race caller theme continues because Matt Jackson was next over the line.

There was plenty of quality racing at the Sapphire Coast over the weekend, and Jackson backed that up with some quality calling and tipping.

He nailed 4 winners across both meets at a fat average price of $4.78.

This meant a juicy 47% POT for Jackson's followers.

Last cab off the rank this time is Mick Wallace, who put in yet another strong showing in NSW's Central-West.

The popular form analyst nabbed 7 winners across the Bathurst, Tamworth and Dubbo cards in the past week.

They got up at a strike rate of 35% to drive a $430 cash profit for everyone who backed Wallace's tips with $100 bets.

The Autumn Carnival has arrived, with the Inglis Millenium highlighting a strong card at Randwick on Saturday.

Some of Sydney's best horses are having their first run of the new campaign, on what's set to be a cracking day of racing.

While past Randwick meets have been a tough nut to crack for tipsters and punters alike, Gary Harley has had no such problems.

The veteran form judge is showing a handy $110 cash profit from his 18 Randwick tips over the past 30 days under actual stake conditions.

On top of that, Gaz is boasting a three-week profit streak at all tracks, so you know he's in some good form.

He looks well placed to deliver another Randwick profit on Saturday.

Despite only being a recent edition to the SKY Racing stable of experts, Melinda Turner has already established herself as a tipster to follow.

The ex-hoop has made the smoothest of transitions into the media, presenting and tipping at meets in northern NSW.

Over the past 30 days, Turner is at the top of the SKY pile for cash profit, having raked in $2,240 for her followers.

This is thanks to 29 winners at a ripping strike rate of 39%, and a handy average price of $3.32.

This is just a further example of the value of listening to ex-jockeys when deciding which horses to back.
