This well-bred gelding stepped out for the first time at Narrogin and couldn't have been more impressive on debut, when strolling home to victory and running slick time in the process.
He spaced the second horse, who has since come out and won. While this race looks to have a few nice types engaged, Talladega appears untapped.
From the soft draw, jockey William Pike has numerous options but maps to drop three pairs back behind the obvious speed set by Sauvegarde and Dreamtime Diva.
From there he's set to get an economical run and with clear air on straightening, I think he will be finishing all over the top of them.
This underrated gelding has been flying this preparation and has been unlucky not to pick up a win.
