We head north of Sydney to the Central Coast on Thursday, for a solid 7 race card at Wyong.
The track is currently rated a Good 4, with fine weather forecast the remainder of the day.
The rail is out 3m the entire circuit and is expected to play fair.
Punters should keep an eye out for the in-form Tommy Berry today. He rode the Wyong track to perfection last meeting, going home with 4 wins from 5 races.
Berry once again teams up with the Annabel Neasham trained Stolz in Race 4 and is looking for back-to-back wins on the son of More Than Ready.
This three-year-old filly started big odds at Hawkesbury on debut, running 6 of 8.
She showed good early toe on that occasion, but over-raced before being beaten by 5 lengths.
I think she'll take a stack of improvement from that run and the booking of Rachel King is huge.
King has shown time and time again her ability to allow horses to settle in the run and produce a kick late.
The short straight at Wyong will suit this filly, who could be left in front for a long time.
If that unfolds, I expect King to steal the race from in front and get us off to a great start.
This promising gelding from the Annabel Neasham stable was a dominant winner over the 1000m at this track last start.
In that clash, he sat off a moderate tempo and blazed his rivals late.
Today he finds a race with a stack of speed and will be camped off them poised to strike.
Tommy Berry retains the ride and from barrier 9, he'll be able to reproduce an effort similar to his last start win.
Stolz looks to have plenty of upside and although there is depth in this field, I think he'll be fighting out the finish late.
