Ipswich Race 3 Tip #3 Kadanga Miss $3.30
From the Tony Gollan yard, this mare comes off some impressive form-lines.
Last run at the Gold Coast, she pinged straight to the front and finished third. Threepoint Missile, who nosed her out for second, has since come out and won his maiden next start to frank that form.
At the start prior, she again raced handy before finishing 2.5 lengths fifth behind Batangas Entry who won again at his next start.
All signs point to her being more than competitive here.
She has to jump from barrier 12, however you can trust gun jockey Ryan Maloney to overcome the wide draw.
Look for Maloney to put her in the firing line early and take up the running, given it pays to race handy at this circuit.
She should be able to control the pace of the race and prove very hard to catch.
Wyong Race 4 Tip #2 Margie Bee $8.00
I'm very happy to be with this Dreamscape mare, who drops in grade and returns to her home track today.
First-up this prep, she proved too strong in a BM68 at this track. She then put in two stinkers, before performing well over 1100m at Royal Randwick in a BM72, running 4-lengths off Never Talk and finishing within 2.1-lengths of the talented Belluci Babe.
While she'll be forced to carry 59.5kg, she's dropping back to a fillies & mares BM64, meeting the weakest field she's faced in quite some time.
She loves this track (3:2-0-0) and has performed well over the 1200m (12:3-2-1).
From barrier 4, I expect Koby Jennings to lead and dictate to his rivals before hitting the go button on turning for home and proving very hard to beat.
Mornington Race 4 Tip #11 Miss Armstrong $2.40
She jumped out well before her debut, but was still sent around at massive odds.
I thought she went really well at her first run at this track over 1200m.
She was slightly held up in the straight in that clash, but ran through the line with Field of Roses who then went on to beat the highly spruiked Loveplanet at Pakenham.
She maps to get a cosy run along the fence here and the extra distance will suit.
