All eyes are on Caulfield and Randwick this weekend with both tracks rated Good and no significant bias expected based on recent meetings. At Caulfield, the rail moves out to 9m after being at 6m last meeting, where the track played fairly. At Randwick, the rail returns to the True position, and the surface should give every horse a fair chance depending on tempo and run pattern. Let’s take a look at the best bets in each city. Last start, she bumped into the smart Art Volant and still held her ground despite pulling up lame. She drops sharply in weight here and maps to get the right run on speed. With natural improvement, she looks well placed to bounce back.   BET OF THE DAY – SYDNEY Randwick – Race 4 No.2 – Swiftfalcon This colt has been racing well and was strong to the line last start despite covering ground and racing against the pattern. Prior to that, he chased home Linebacker over this same trip at Randwick, and that form looks even better now. He was terrific last start in the Alister Clark Stakes at Moonee Valley, finishing third behind Chandon Burj and Imperialist. Both of those horses went around in the Australian Derby last weekend, which I think is a strong form reference for this race. Sartorio’s bred to stay, and I thought the way he hit the line over 2040m last start was really encouraging. He now steps up to 2400m, which should suit him perfectly. Emma Lee and David Browne have him going well and this looks like a big drop in class for him. She now steps up to 2400m, draws ideally in barrier 2 and brings the highest-rated performance into this field. If she runs out the trip, she ticks every other box and will take a power of beating.     Race 6 – Sires Produce #2 Wodeton $2.70 Wodeton only needs to reproduce his Golden Slipper rating to be winning here. The wide draw plays to his advantage, allowing him to get to the best part of the track late. He’ll need a horse to take him into the race from the 600m and Federalist looks the most likely to do just that. The two runners at the top of the market have zero reason to be as short as they are and as a result, we are getting ridiculous quotes for three runners. You Wahng and Sun 'N' Sand were outstanding in the G3 Kembla Classic and with even luck go close to winning the event. The other is Belle Detelle who comes up from Melbourne after a nice freshen-up and looks set to fly here with Damian Lane booked to ride. You can currently back all three of these horses to return over $4 per $1 staked. Outstanding bet considering the current favourite is gross unders at $3.20     Race 7 - T.J. Smith #6 Sunshine In Paris $10.00 The fact double-digit odds are floating around for this star mare is ridiculous. She was outstanding in the Canterbury Stakes first up with a race tempo completely against. She won't have that issue here with genuine speedsters launching early. On a huge Group 1 day at Royal Randwick, we again analyse the early market to identify all the relevant price-action. At Caulfield, a Sydney raider has been switched south to target Stakes grade which is an excellent guide in itself. This is a clear vote of confidence from the stable and a strong lead for punters. She was solid when placing 3rd of 9 at Randwick Kensington last start and now appears primed for this target race. This looks a set-up job for the Emirates Park colours, with the stable sure to have her ready to fire. Respect any further market firm.   Heart Of Glass Strong last-start effort here over the same 1200m (2nd, beaten 0.7L), when closing well from a long way back. This time she draws better in gate 6 and looks set to settle closer in the run. With added fitness and a more suitable map, she’s the run-on horse to watch late. Big chance if she lands midfield with cover.   Hughes Hammered late in betting last start at Cranbourne ($4.20 into $3.30) and got the job done with authority. Now third-up and rising in grade, but clearly flying. Carries 62.5kg again, but gets help with the 3kg claim. With a similar run on-pace, he could prove hard to run down again.   Porter Brained them at Morphettville when backed off the map ($2 into $1.65), and now drops in Benchmark class despite rising in grade to Melbourne metro level. The stable is placing him perfectly and he maps well despite drawing wide. With tactical speed, look for him to roll forward and prove very hard to beat.   Randwick Tips   Evaporate Looks extremely well-placed in this field. Maps to be on speed and gets a huge rider upgrade to Blake Shinn, who can dictate the tempo from a forward spot. With the key rival Swiftfalcon a backmarker, the race shape should suit Evaporate perfectly.   Vinrock Emerging 2YO with plenty of upside and importantly arrives with different form lines. He is already proven over the 1400m whereas a lot of his rivals are unexposed. This gives him a fitness edge over the Slipper horses and the camp believes he’s still improving. Could be the next big thing.   Magic Time Genuine Group 1 mare who thrives at Randwick (8:3-1-3) and returns to her ideal circuit after a forgive run last start. Gate 1 gives her options and she’ll be smoking the pipe behind the speed. The stable is airborne, and she’ll be ready to unleash late. Big chance.   Wilydoit NZ Derby winner who did it the hard way last start and still found the line. Carries top staying credentials and has an enormous motor.
