Hunter hits Mark at the Heath
Popular Victorian form expert Mark Hunter cleaned up at Caulfield on Saturday.
He found 4 winners across the card, at a juicy average price of $5.75.
This drove a fat 53% POT for Hunter, whose success was largely thanks to his effective use of Dutch betting.
Dutch betting, or backing multiple runners in a race, is a betting strategy commonly used by Hunter in his staking plan exclsive to his tip package at theGreatTipOff.com.
Plenty will be backing up with Hunter's tip package at Sandown this Saturday.
The former Aussie Rules star will be keen to bag another profit before seeing his beloved Bulldogs get the job done in the AFL Grand Final.
To illustrate how effective Dutch betting can be, all 4 of Hunter's winners last Saturday came in races where he tipped multiple horses.
The best example came in the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes.
There are often a handful of winning chances in big handicaps like this, and hence why Hunter offered up three tips for his followers.
As you can see, he not only nabbed the winner with $12.80 pop Sierra Sue, but also tipped the second horse Dice Roll.
Anyone who was smart enough to throw Hunter's tips into a quinella saw a monster $147 return.
But back to Dutch betting, and Hunter also used it to success in Race 4, where he identified two winning hopes.
It was Lightsaber who got the chocolates at $5 odds, in a cracking way to start the day for Hunter's followers.
Elsewhere, Hunter tipped the well-fancied Annavisto and Bella Nipotina in races where he employed Dutch betting.
