Another tough month for most punters in August. However there wasn't a shortage of outstanding profit makers from the vast list of Australia's racing media, professional punters and others whose tips are posted at theGreatTipOff.com.
The six awards covering the top three place getters for both cash profit made and profit on turnover (POT), were split evenly between the racing media and punters. With two life-long profit makers appearing yet again in these top three spots.

The sandgroper tipped no less than 43 winners from 143 selections over the 31 day period leaving $100 win bet punters with a tidy $6,750 profit.
Runner-up, TurfCutter is another one of those life-time profit makers whose expertise continues to prove itself.
The New South Welshman tipped 225 winners in August making $4,234 profit using the same stake amount for Chris's tips above.

Second runner-up was LuckyStar who found 44 winners at average odds of $8.29 to make $100 win bet followers a tasty $4,195.
