This now 5YO finds a very winnable race today as he steps up to the 1512m second up.

With three notable scratching's of on-pace runners, he's become a bet at a big price.

His first-up run over 1300m at Wyong was below average, but he was never expected to contend at that set up.

Second-up with a record of 2:0-1-1, punters can bet with some confidence that he'll be ready to run a race with some fitness on his side.

The key to his chances to today are the inside draw and the 3kg claim for apprentice Anna Roper.

He can land in front and carve out even sectionals, before producing a kick on straightening.

This son of Reward For Effort did enough on debut to suggest he can win today.

From a middle draw over the 1175m, he landed beyond midfield, before closing off well into 4th.

He's drawn ideally today and can sit a little closer now he's stepping up to the 1400m.

In a race that lacks any depth whatsoever, he'd only have to take marginal improvement from his debut to be winning.
