The media tipsters were dominant on the leaderboard for profit on turnover (POT), after claiming seven of the top ten spots.

Racing.com and SKY Racing were both prominent, with each stable seeing three of their tipsters near the summit.

But right up the top thanks to a thumping 222% POT was fan favourite Clint Hutchison. 

Hutchi cleaned up on Saturday's Moonee Valley card, after finding 3 winners at a mouth-watering average price just shy of $10.

The definite standout was Mr Pickwick after it saluted at monster $24.60 odds in Race 8.

Hutchi goes big at The Valley

Hutchison's Racing.com colleague Ben Sporle also had a week to remember.

The presenter and country Victorian racing expert steered his followers into a fat 137% POT.

This was thanks to a clinical display of tipping out at Donald on Sunday.

Sporle secured 6 of the 10 winners at a handsome average price of $3.95.

SKY Racing were the other media organisation to impress, with John Forsythe showing the way. 

The popular North Queenslander went close to tipping the card at Cairns on Thursday.

"Bluey" called home 6 of his 8 tips, with his other two tips finding a place.

His winners got up at a handy average price of $3.07 to drive a 130% POT.

Priscilla Looker also impressed for the SKY Racing stable thanks to some smart tipping at Taree.

The ex-hoop found 4 of the 7 winners last Tuesday at a solid average price of $3.70.

This not only drove an 111% POT, but saw Looker dish up her second consecutive winning day.

Punters will be keen to see what she tips next.

The other media expert to tip his socks off was RSN's Rick McIntosh. 

The iconic caller jagged 7 winners across Sandown and Echuca during the week.

They saluted at a sensational strike rate of 54%, and included Wil John who took out the Grand National Hurdle on Sunday.

Everyone who backed McIntosh's tips with even stake ended up with a fat 88% POT.

Finally, we couldn't finish up without giving the pro punters their due.

Adelaide local Ochiltwig was the best of the bunch, thanks to a whopping 186% POT.

The South Australian bagged 8 winners at a superb strike rate of 44% and a meaty average price of $6.44.

Ochiltwig is also boasting some impressive stats over the past 30 days.

In this period he's showing a 69% POT.

He's one to keep your eye on in August.

Harness and Greyhound tipster of the week

Victorian pro punter Raymond888 was the best performer on the harness leaderboard this week.

He tipped 6 winners at a strike rate of 46% and at an average price of $5.72.

This generated a bumper 164% POT for Raymond888 and his followers.

And now with two winning days on the trot, you know his next harness tips will be looked at.

Onto the greyhound leaderboard and fellow Victorian pro Bestdogtip came out on top. 

He bagged 3 winners at a thumping average price of $21.40 including $56 pop Apres Monelli at Darwin on Wednesday.

A phenomenal effort considering this pro only provided 14 tips across the week.

He clocked off with a mouth-watering 359% POT, extending his 90-day POT to 25% in the process.
