One of the more unique meets on the racing calendar is the two-day Darwin Carnival held at Fannie Bay Racecourse. It is the pinnacle of racing in the Northern Territory, and the perfect arena for the CEO of Thoroughbred Racing NT, Andrew O'Toole to show-off his wares .

O'Toole had a carnival to remember, delivering punters a feast of winners over the two days of racing. On Saturday, O'Toole tipped 5 winners from 7 races on the card, including his best bet, to earn punters who followed his tips 173% POT.

This was backed up on the Monday, where O'Toole tipped 3 more winners for 41% POT. Over the two day carnival, O'Toole finished with 8 winners from 16 tips at a hugely impressive 99% POT. In plain speaking, that's doubling your money.

Also a horse owner and presenter of Darwin races on Sky Racing, O'Toole is a leading and respected voice in horse racing amongst Territorians .  

The best punter this week was Bendigo local Bawheid. Making $1,650 in profit from 44 $100 win bets in the past 7 days, this punter showed that he knows his stuff. 

Not only did Bawheid tip winners at a strike rate of 25%, but the average price of his winners was an impressive $5.50. If your average winning price is a juicy $5.50, and you're tipping a winner in every fourth race, the maths says that you'll come out on top. And come out on top he did.

Taking-up 7 of the top 10 places for total profit over the past week, it was the media tipsters who had the better of it to kick start August. With two racing experts in the top 5, both Sky Racing and Best Bets deserve a mention.

Ben Walker from Sky Racing  in particular picked a couple of huge winners. With more than three grand in profit from only 3 winning tips, he averaged $14.23 per collect to deliver his followers a phenomenal 434% POT.
