The Valley plays host to a strong Saturday program of racing, with gallops action returning to the course for the first time in months.

The track is currently rated a soft 6 and with fine weather predicted, particpants will be met with an improving racing surface.

The rail is out 3m the entire circuit and runners may be better suited on pace.

She enters this contest coming off two strong runs at Flemington over the 1400m.

She was unlucky not to win first up after getting back in the race.

This was against her usual pattern but she stormed home with some very strong closing sectionals.

Ridden closer at her last start, she was far from disgraced in a very strong BM90 behind Grande Rumore and multiple city winner Megamea.

Third up here and drawn perfectly in barrier two, she can push forward and position herself on speed. This will be crucial at this track.

She drops in grade sharply and is very well weighted comparative to her opposition with only 59kg under D Lane.

The rise to 1600m is perfect and she is a two-time winner at this distance.

Furthermore, she is also one from one at the track and trip.

Everything looks in her favour to be fighting out the finish here.

Absolutely flying this prep with not much luck in both starts, but I'm tipping that can change here this afternoon.

Both his runs this time in over 1400m have been solid.

This included being beaten a pimple when first up, after coming from last off a hot speed.

At his last start, he got caught behind midfield on the fence and the leader absolutely walked. This made it a near impossible position to win from.

He savaged the line once he got clear, running the fourth best last 200m split of the entire day.

Third up, I'm convinced the horse is flying this preparation and can break through.

A two-time winner at this distance and he's a previous winner at this third up stage of his prep as well.
