Eagle Farm R5 Tip #5 Hallowed Girl $3.00
She’s proven at the 1600 metres and can display her superior turn of foot down the long Eagle Farm straight.
The Chris Anderson trained filly put in a colossal performance to come from last with a withering finish to score at Doomben last run.
She stays at the mile for the third time in a row which ensures she will be rock hard fit for this.
Whilst going up in class, she benefits by dropping in weight and the inside barrier should see her settle slightly closer in the run in the smaller field.
Expert Brad Stewart to push out in the straight and wind her up to finish over the top of them again.

Sandown Hillside Race 1 Tip #1 McCain $6.50
I thought this son of Shooting to Win was good last start when coming off the speed to run down the leaders at Echuca.
He gets a bit of a penalty with a few extra kilos for winning that race, but I think he will appreciate the step up in distance.
The form has also been franked with the 3rd placed horse Diesel 'N' Dust who has since bolted in, winning his next start by 3.75L.

Canterbury Race 3 Tip #1 Our Winnie $23.00 each-way
This mare from the Gregory McFarlane yard is the class runner of the field and finds conditions to suit today.
Her two runs off a spell have been below her best, but come as no surprise given she takes a while to come to hand. Her best runs have come deeper into her prep, in smaller fields and over this distance range.
After the 3kg claim for Tom Sherry, she'll carry 57kg, which has her really well in at the weights. Sherry is coming off a winner at Wyong yesterday and will no doubt be full of confidence walking into Canterbury today.
From barrier 5, she'll be restrained to last along the rails and I expect Sherry to hug the rails until the home turn before attempting to position the mare down the middle of the track for a late run at the post.
With even luck on turning for home, I think this girl can fly over the top at huge odds!
