Brassel & Bailey keep Pros company
It was more of the same this week as the Pro punters again ran away with it at the top of the leaderboard for most profit.
But keeping them honest was a handful of Australia's most well known and well respected media tipsters.
We'll get onto them later, but first we have to sing the Pros' praises.
Right up the top with one of the highest weekly totals in recent memory was Ochiltwig.
It didn't matter that this Pro only tipped three winners, because he ended up with a monster $16,490 in cash profit from only 15 tips.
These figures are nothing short of astonishing.
No prizes for guessing he tipped a few roughies, but it doesn't get much better than a 150/1 shot.
It came at Pinjarra last Thursday as Recondition romped home to the cheers of the South Australian tipster.

Good luck tipping a rougher winner than that all year.
The next Pro who really dominated was fan favourite Sandgroper.
This WA local found 45 winners for his followers, at an average price of $5.
And at a strike rate of 25%, Sandgroper really put in an accomplished all-round tipping display.
These impressive stats added up to a cash profit of $4,780.
Not a bad haul from this tipping veteran.
The best media expert of the week was none other than SKY Racing stalwart Tony Brassel.
Brassel's tipping output over the years has been incredible.
There aren't many better judges of form than him, and this week it was borne out in the results.
Brassel steered his fans into 37 winners, at an incredible strike rate of 37%.
Amongst these 37 winning tips, Brassel tipped a winner in all four of the major metropolitan meets on Saturday.
This also included his best bet at Caulfield, Benitoite in Race 6.
Tony Brassel's best bet of the day
If you're looking for free Saturday tips, it's hard to go past Brassel's selections.
Another household name in punting circles is Terry Bailey.
The veteran race caller has shown of late that he's no slouch when it comes to tipping the horses as well.
In fact, this is the third time this year that Bailey has been mentioned in this article as one of the week's best tipsters.
This time, Bailey tipped 6 winners, at an impressive average price of $5.67 and 100% POT.
This resulted in a big profit of $1,700.
You can't ask for much more than that.

Finally, there was another big-name tipster who had a week to remember.
David Gately generated $1,230 in cash profit for all the punters who followed his tips with $100 bets.
This came at a thumping 77% POT for his army of followers.
This is a great effort considering how much form Gator covers each Saturday, with up to 18 races assessed at both Sydney and Melbourne metropolitan meets in his premium racing package.
