Saturday racing in the city of churches returns to headquarters this weekend.

Big fields have been assembled for the 9 race card, with the rail out a massive 13m and the Morphettville surface is currently rated a Soft 6.

What does that mean for punters? Speed maps will be key, with leaders and box-seaters drawn on the inside set to hold an advantage.

Race 4 #4 Bring Forth $4.40

A big watch here on this Price/Kent trained visitor, who has also been nominated for three other races interestingly.

There's a query over whether they decide to bring the 3YO gelding over for this assignment, however it looks like perfect race for him to make it two on-the-bounce.

First-up he was quite simply a tragedy beaten, and showed that by breaking his maiden next start at Bendigo.

Third-up last campaign, he was rated through the roof when only beaten 1.7L in the Group 2 Sandown Guineas.

He maps ideally to do little work here, on just a moderate tempo. He has a clear sectional strength on these and rates a good bet at $3.80 or better.

Race 5 #10 Aloha Blue $17

An on-pace and clearly underrated mare from the David Halliday yard, who is rarely too far away in her races.

She was enormous just last week after being wide throughout with no cover on a solid tempo. She had the audacity to give a big kick in the straight, only to be gunned down late by a couple of swoopers.

She will simply jump and lead here from the rails draw, carrying only 54kg.

The quick back-up has proven to work well in the past for the mare and you can expect her to give followers a great sight a big odds.

It's an open race but considering the huge price, she's well worth a throw at the stumps. Rates $9.
