Happy Valley Race 2 #8 This Is Charisma $4.40
This Is Charisma has been a frustrating horse to follow, but can finally hit the target on his 22nd start.
It's interesting that Zac Purton has kept the faith with this gelding, having rode him on three previous occasions for no result.
The 6YO started out as a sprinter, but a well run 1650m is turning out to be his best trip.
Last start, he was really strong through the line over the 1400m at Sha Tin.
For tonight, he runs off a career-low mark, draws a good barrier and returns to his ideal trip.
Add in he is also steered by one of the world's best jockeys and that's a lot of boxes ticked.

The John Size 4YO comes here in good form having been placed on his last two starts.

Valiant Elegance defeated the selection last time but that winner is 6Ib higher and the tables can be turned.
From a good barrier, the topweight can win for the fourth time.
