Best bets at Gosford
Gosford hosts a strong eight-race card on Tuesday, with fine weather forecast for the NSW Central Coast region.
The track is currently rated a Soft 7 and the rail in the true position for the entire circuit.
There is a natural advantage towards on-pace runners at this track, given the tight turns and short straight.
Josh steered punters into Paprena at Hawkesbury last Tuesday, paying $11.70 top tote!

Phoenix River goes around in race 5 today, after having excuses in his last start at Randwick Kensington before heading for a spell.
The gelding began awkwardly in that clash and shortly after the start, he was crowded for room. He was then held up approaching the turn and was denied the opportunity for clear air until the 250m mark.
Despite the troublesome run, he still managed to run a credible third.
The son of So You Think returns after four months in the paddock, and has had two nice trials leading in to this run.
The drop in grade from a BM76 to a Class 1 is a plus, as is the engagement of in-form jockey Tommy Berry.

Brenton Avdulla has great stats at Gosford.
Avdulla has had 33 rides here in the past 12 months, winning 8 at a strike rate of 24%.
The gun hoop is booked for 2 rides, with his best chance coming in race 2 on Killin.
I've identified 5-races on today's card that represent good betting opportunities. Below is my best bet on the card and my quaddie numbers.

Gosford Race 2 Tip #1 Killin $2.10
The Snitzel gelding looks ready to crack the maiden status in a race with little depth.
He comes into this first-up clash on the back of a nice trial and his previous form has stacked up.
The addition of Brenton Avdulla is a positive as is the gelding operation, which is likely to switch this galloper on.
This race doesn't have a lot of depth, so he'll only need to make a minor improvement to be winning.
The soft conditions should suit and he's proven to handle the Gosford track.
From the draw, Avdulla should be able to sit off the fence 2-3 pairs back and give him the dream run.
Look for him to cruise into the turn and fly into the straight.
