Best bets at Scone
The Tamworth Friday meeting scheduled for this week has been transferred to Scone, which will see the track host it's second meeting in five days.
The track was rated a Soft 6 Thursday afternoon with sunshine forecast .
The rail is in the 3m position from the 800m to the winning post and True the remainder, so expect on-pace favours early before evening out late in the piece.
Josh steered punters into Paprena at Hawkesbury on Tuesday, paying $11.70 top tote!

From the stewards
The runner of note from the pre-stewards report is Burning Crown in race 8.
Hugh Bowman was questioned regarding the poor performance at Randwick. The gun hoop stated that he attempted to obtain cover in the early stages but when another runner shifted out near the 900m, his mount raced fiercely and was steadied from heels.
Bowman also stated that he allowed the horse to continue a forward move to the outside of the front runner. However when the leader maintained the strong tempo, Burning Crown began to tire and didn't respond to Bowman's riding in the straight.
It's worth mentioning connections were also concerned about the Heavy track conditions pre-race, so back on to an improving surface here is a plus.
Jockey to follow
Ashley Morgan has impressive stats at Scone.
Morgan has had 75 rides here in the past 12 months, winning 11 at a strike rate of 15%.
Morgan is booked for 4 rides today, with his best chance coming in Race 2 on No More Girls.
I've identified 3-races on today's card that represent good betting opportunities. Below is my best bet on the card and my quaddie numbers.

Scone Race 4 Tip #2 Manseneta $1.95
The Medaglia D'Oro gelding looks to continue his hot form here.
Last start he impressed with a dominant win at Tamworth, coming with a massive run to win by just under 5 lengths.
The form from that race has stood up nicely, with both second and third placing running well next start.
Mitchell Bell will stick with him and from a nice draw, he will get his chance to continue the form this preparation.
From the draw, Bell will drift back to midfield and peel out in the straight for his sprint home.
This field doesn't have a lot of depth so his class will take him a long way.
