Best plays for Monday racing at Albury
Riverina racing heads to Albury on Monday, with a competitive seven-race card giving punters plenty to sink their teeth into.
It has been three weeks since we have seen races at Albury, so the track should be primed and ready.
The track is rated a Soft 5 and the rail is out 6m out for the entire circuit.

Albury Race 1 Tip #1 Star Of Tennessee $1.90

The three-year-old filly by Starspangledbanner knows one thing, and that's speed.
Jumping from barrier 3 should see the ever consistent Blaike Mcdougall lob her in the perfect position, ideally in the first three. Her latest jump-out shows she handles the softer conditions just fine.
If we see her leading after 100m, a repeat of her debut 34.5s last 600m should see her prove too quick for this lot.
She was first past the post in her last race, however ended up losing the race on protest.
That will make connections as hungry as ever to break the maiden shackles here!
Albury Race 2 Tip #9 Only A Dream $14.00
David Blundell saddles up the four-year-old mare Only A Dream at good odds.
She got well back at her last start, before storming home to run a nice second place.
She maps perfectly for this. Expect a few horses to burn out to the front early, which will set it up perfectly for this mare.
From barrier 9, look for Kayla Nisbet to get back and hopefully take the shortcuts home close to the fence.
She'll be motoring in the last 100m and at the current price of $14.00/4.00, she looks a great each-way play.
