Punters & Tipsters find juicy value
Once again it was a punter that was at the head of the pack for total profit over the past 7 days. The key to Capposki's handy pay packet of $4,330 (from $100 win bets) was the meaty value he found. His 9 winners saluted at an average winning price of $8.59, with 3 of those bets getting home at double figure odds.
That effort came from a consistent run of winning days where he notched-up 7 profitable days out of his last 8.
There's no doubt that Capposki's surrounds at his home along side the picturesque Great Ocean Road in coastal Victoria, wouldn't do any harm to clear his mind before assessing the racing form.
The method he uses to find his winners is still a mystery to us at theGreatTipOff.com however, as we haven't had much interaction with the Victorian punter since he joined us. But we only have to go back to October 2017 to note his last award when he was second runner-up to the Horse Racing Tipster of the Month.
Leading the media tipster's this week was Daniel Nuttall, who also resides in Victoria and was finding value with ease this week. The young Best Bets tipster was on fire with his selections, tipping 5 out of 7 winners at last Thursday's Wellington meet. Add to that an average winning price of $8.50, and you get a lot of happy punters taking the good oil from this rising star of racing.
A cracking strike rate and a huge average win price only means one thing - a massive profit to the tune of 493% profit on turnover (POT). Proving that effort was no fluke, Nuttall is also well in the black over the past 30 days now, boasting a very respectable 52% POT.
For those familiar with Nuttall's' rise in the horse racing industry, this performance would come as no surprise. He won the Victorian Racing Media Association's Black Caviar Scholarship, a prize awarded by the VRMA to a select an aspiring racing journo to get a leg-up in the industry. The VRMA noted his passion for racing when judging him for the opportunity and it's that same passion that is now now benefiting punters in the best way possible - winners!
Living up to their name, Best Bets had the best bets for any racing publication or website over the past week. Alongside Nuttall in the top 10 was David Salmon, who bagged one-and-a-half grand from $100 win bets, which was 224% POT.
Super Racing in the News Limited stable also appeared in the Top 10 represented by Paul Micallef who delivered his followers 35% POT from a massive output of 51 tips. That effort is even better when you consider that most of those tips were entered 48 hours before they jumped to meet editorial deadlines.
