Top chance here in a race with very little depth to it.
Comes into this off a Gelding operation and has looked good in his two jumpouts leading into this debut run.
This 3yo Gelding trained by Matthew Smith won one and finished 2nd in the other trial at Pakenham over the last month.
The winning jump out was particularly impressive in which he held out Group 2 winner 'Shuffle Dancer'.
Draws well in barrier 6 where middle barriers are well favoured at Sale. He should settle around midfield or just off the pace.
Trainer Matthew Smith has been in solid recent form as of late with 16 winners from his last 100 runners.
Has a good chance of adding another win to that record with this 3yo Gelding on debut.

Canterbury Race 3 #1 Bat Out Of Hell $6.50
This 3YO gelding out of Hellbent has great potential over the winter months to make a name for himself.
He needed the run first up at this track over the short 1100m and looks ready to fire here stepping up to 1250m.
He will continue to stretch out over further as his campaign progresses but still on the fresh side, this trip will suit.
He handles all track conditions well and gets Zac Lloyd in the saddle.
Looks a great each way price.

Doomben Race 3 #1 Bettcha The Crown $2.35
He finished in the placings behind Cranky Harry in both of his career starts, acquitting himself nicely.
That form looks pretty strong for this three-year-old maiden as Cranky Harry has now won two races.
He was turned out at that point and comes into this, fresh from a short spell.
James Orman takes the ride for the first time which is a good sign, and will take him back in the field from the wide barrier.
There are a few in this field who have had plenty of opportunities, so he looks a great chance to open his account.
