Pakenham Race 4 #1 Alison Road $2.80

Alison Road races on his home track for the first time after a strong debut at Cranbourne.

They flew along in that race over 1000m and he just got left flat-footed, but it was the way he hit the line that was impressive.

The rise in distance to 1200m tonight is ideal and the bigger track will suit.

He gets a stronger jockey on tonight and is suited drawn out.

This will allow him to get plenty of clear air.

The barrier extension goes on for tonight which can help him begin a little cleaner.

There is good speed drawn on either side of him, so I expect him to follow them and sit one out, one back.

There’s not much depth to this race and he is my best of the night.

Enuff He Said comes to Pakenham for the first time after a strong effort in the VOBIS race at Caulfield.

He bounced to the lead from a wide draw and just faded late over 1600m.

For tonight he drops in distance to 1400m, which will see him be able to keep up his high cruising speed throughout.

His record over the distance is 3:1-2-0.

He’s drawn wide again, but there doesn’t appear to be much speed in the race and it’s easier to cross them at Pakenham compared to Caulfield.

The 3YO always races consistently and I expect him to run another solid race tonight.

At $7.50, he is worth an each-way play.
