We head to Tamworth for a competitive 8 race card.
The track is currently rated a Heavy 8, with the rail out 3m from the 1400m to the winning post and true for the remainder.
At this setup, I expect jockeys to steer off the rails as the rail is likely to chop up as the meeting goes on.

Tamworth Race 3 #4 Second Half $2.00
I'm giving this son of Adelaide one final chance to break his maiden.
This is a very winnable race for him and he only needs to run-up to his last start breakthrough.
From barrier 1, with Matthew Palmer to ride I expect him to land leaders back for a soft run in transit.
With even luck, the gaps will appear on turning for home and he can put them away late.
Tamworth Race 7 #14 Badboy McCoy $13.00
This looks like the value bet of the day!
His last start 3rd was full of merit and it could be argued that he'd of finished much closer to the winner with even luck.
On that occasion, he raced in restricted room and was getting on heels, when three pairs back the rail. He was eventually restrained and pulled wide in the straight, but did lose significant momentum at a vital stage.
Today, from barrier 5, he'll land in the running line, behind a decent tempo, and will be allowed every possible chance to finish off.
He produces his bets on rain-affected going and while he doesn't win out of turn, today looks the ideal setup.
With the 8 runners in the field, punters can back Badboy McCoy on a 2x3 basis with confidence.
