It was a cracking week from SKY Racing's NSW experts, but beating them all to the summit was SA's Terry McAuliffe.
The racing broadcaster and analyst had a week to remember, after firing on the final day of the Morphettville Carnival.
McAuliffe bagged 3 winners including $13 pop Trygve in the third, helping punters out on what was a tricky day overall.
And after dishing up another 2 winners at Bordertown on Wednesday, McAuliffe clocked off with a bumper 67% Profit on Turnover (POT).
Punters who followed all of his tips with $100 win bets ended up $1,070 in front.
Incredible stuff.
But onto the New South Wales brigade now and faring best was race caller James Tait.
Tait has been in some tremendous form of late, and this week only extended his good run after his tips drove a whopping 86% POT.
These inroads came at Friday's Albury meet, where Tait nabbed 2 winners from 7 selections including $11 shot Stratum's Reward in Race 2.
We'll touch on just how well Tait is faring a little later.
Rounding out the podium with a very impressive 83% POT was Priscilla Looker.
The ex-hoop is now one of the best form analysts going around in northern NSW, and this week steered her followers into a fill-up at Port Macquarie.
She found 4 of the 7 winners on the card, at a meaty average price of $3.20.
Looker is flying at the track, and is now boasting a three-day winning streak there.
Her next tips at Port Macquarie are sure to be popular.
Priscilla Looker on a roll
Coming home next was talented race caller Luke Marlow after his tips drove a fat 69% POT.
The rising star of NSW race calling covered the quality Scone card on Friday.
There he bagged 3 winners including $6.80 shot Laure Me In in the Listed Scone Cup.
With quality tips and a perfect voice for calling, expect to hear much more of it in decades to come.
Last cab off the rank this time is none other than Paul Joice.
The Sydney form expert nabbed 6 winners across the Rosehill and Randwick Kensington meets during the week.
They saluted at a strike rate of 38% and an average price of $3.27, generating a handy 23% POT.
Just another day at the office for Joice.
Doomben Tips
Tipster | Profit / POT | |
---|---|---|
Michael Maxworthy (QLD) |
$2,220 / 44% (90 days) |
We're back at Doomben on Saturday for the running of the Group 1 Doomben Cup and plenty more black type races.
And with an incredible record at the track over the past 90 days, Michael Maxworthy looks well placed to deliver the goods for punters.
In this period he's bagged 17 winners at a strike rate of 33% and a meaty average price of $4.31.
This has resulted in an incredible 44% POT, which jumps up to 48% POT if you doubled your stake on Maxworthy's best bets.
If that wasn't enough, then Maxworthy is showing a four-week profit streak at Doomben.
You know punters will be all over his Doomben tips on Saturday.
Who's Flying?
As we hinted at above, James Tait has been airborne of late.
The race caller for southern NSW and the nation's capital is boasting some bumper stats over the past 90 days.
He's found 22 winners in this time, at an impressive strike rate of 30% and a juicy average price of $4.94.
Tait clearly doesn't shy away from a bit of value, which has been the driving force behind his 49% POT.
This puts him on top of the 90-day leaderboard for SKY experts who have placed at least 60 tips in this period.
Phenomenal going.
